Dr. Marty Becker, “America’s Veterinarian,” is the founder of Fear Free, an initiative to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in pets through education for veterinary professionals, pet parents, and shelters. He launched Happy Paws magazine to help pet owners provide better care and is a bestselling author of 23 books. Dr. Becker served as the veterinary contributor for Good Morning America for 17 years and is Chief Veterinary Correspondent for American Humane. He is an adjunct professor at three veterinary schools and an advocate for the human-animal bond, continuing to practice at North Idaho Animal Hospital to stay connected with pets and their people.
